Summer has arrived early this year. Budbreak came sooner than usual, and we have already finished the most important work in the vineyard. Now we are hoping for a good summer and a beautiful autumn.
Every year we spend around 1,000 hours of work on every hectare of vineyard – about twice the South Tyrolean average. Every vine is cared for by hand because our goal has always been the same: lower yields, grapes with character and wines that reflect where they come from.
A growing season is never without its challenges. Over the past few weeks, some of our vineyards were hit by hail. Fortunately, the damage has been limited and the vines are developing well. We are looking ahead to harvest with confidence.
Summer is a wonderful time to visit us. Walk through the vineyards, visit the cellar and enjoy a tasting on our terrace overlooking the valley. Our wine experiences can be booked online, but you are just as welcome to drop by without a reservation.
